MBTA and Commuter Rail:

- If you are unsure about current travel conditions, it’s always helpful to visit the MBTA online, and search day-of-recommendations in their trip planning feature.
- MBTA Text Updates: Be sure to also sign up for text messages for up to date service delays.
- Commuter Rail Flex Pass: The MBTA 5-day Flex Pass on the Commuter Rail a permanent program in their fare structure. The Flex Pass, available for purchase on the mTicket app, is good for five round trip tickets, does not have to be used on consecutive days and is valid for up to 30 days after purchase. In addition, these are priced 10% cheaper than buying five round trip tickets on separate days.
- Longwood Shuttle Longwood Collective operates a extensive shuttle network serving the Longwood neighborhood. All shuttles are free for Longwood Collective member communities and FREE access on the M2 shuttle to Cambridge is limited to Harvard community pass holders.
